Libraries

The closest Pratt city library in Pigtown is being rebuilt. There are temporary library services at Paul's Place while construction is happening. A library card is free to city residents and gives you access to free black and white printing, computers, internet, any book in national library systems you can imagine, classes, and online access to free audiobooks, movies, shows, and the Baltimore Banner digitally.

Station North Tool Library is a bit out of the way - being northeast of Penn Station - but for $15 a year you can borrow almost any tool you could need for up to two weeks at a time, and after a shop safety class - with a low income program available to take the for free - you can also use the sizable wood shop with preregistration every and any weekend. Reach out at help@mountclare.net if you need help affording membership. The tool library is accessible either by riding the Charm City Circulator Orange to Purple, or via the MTA Citylink Purple to Red.
